Since word of the Baja 5B release back in 2005, there has been an ever increasing amount of interest in large scale RC from a bashing & racing perspective, with race tracks steadily being purposely built for these amazing vehicles. Since the company has been created in 2008, Silverback RC has actively taken the opportunity to become involved in sponsorship in these bash & race events.
There are clear advantages to running these large scale RC vehicles and arguably the most popular reason for making the switch from Nitro is that these vehicles are powered by a standard 2-stroke petrol/oil premix engine. Fuel running costs are significantly reduced and engine tuning is almost a set & forget thing.
